Herring Hope and Healing

Herring Hope and Healing offers trauma coaching and consultation for survivors and their caregivers!

Herring Hope and Healing offers coaching and consultation for adult survivors of sexual trauma and their caregivers. As a result of the recent shared trauma we've experienced during the pandemic, research has shown a growing need for trauma professionals who specialize in supporting individuals through challenging life events so that they can recover, heal and make gains in their interpersonal relationships.

According to research on how trauma impacts brain development, we know that trauma greatly impacts children's development biologically, psychologically and socially. As a result of this, there may be challenges in their academics. Herring Hope and Healing offers coaching from multiple perspectives to ensure the adults, children and educators who are impacted by trauma have the skills they need to pour into their loved ones and be effective when caring for children who have experienced trauma. Parent and Caregiver Coaching includes but it not limited to: family members of the child, teachers, educators, school faculty and staff, youth workers, residential care providers.

With a specialty in how trauma impacts learning, HHH provides academic support for all learners as well as culturally responsible curriculum review and consultation for educators and schools.
